Athie Umgido

Hailing from East London, Athie Umgido forms part of UMGIDO, leaders in a new age Gqom sound. This unique sound blends Gqom melodies with classic notes of electro house and has piqued interest beyond our borders. In 2016 DJ Athie began focusing on music full time and moved to Cape Town to attend the Bridges Academy where he graduated. DJ Athie is a resident and helps produce a weekly show on 5fm, #TheHouseConnect where he introduces the freshest new music.

AudioJerk established his brand in the South African Techno scene by playing at every major music festival around the country from ULTRA to Rocking The Daisies, Oppikoppi, AfrikaBurn & Rage. He played internationally in 2016 at the world-renowned festival, Amsterdam Dance Event as well as the Katemukke ADE Showcase in 2017. AudioJerk has also seen his back to back moniker STAB Virus with friend Siphe Tebeka exploded onto the international scene at the 'Awakenings 2017' Techno festival. He has released internationally on labels Suara & Katermukke and Senso Sounds.

China Charmeleon

China Charmeleon also known as Siphamandla Innocent has risen and changed slowly as a Charmeleon would from the ranks of being resident DJ in his home town of Carolina, Mpumalanga. He drew most of his inspiration in terms of mixing from DJ Kent who he believes is one of South Africa's most talented DJs. He aims to follow in his footsteps and turn the inspiration into something new.

Deacon

Driven foremost by a passion for discovering music Deacon has built a wide ranging collection of sounds and has been sharing his tunes with dancefloors for just over a decade now. Deacon believes in taking his audience on a journey, telling a story. He likes to keep you on your toes by never being bound by a specific sound or genre. You can expect progressive, groovy sets ranging through electronica, downtempo, house, techno and trance often with a strong psychedelic influence.

DJ N.A.G

Fakumfutho, also known as N.A.G and DJ N.A.G, real name Nkanyiso A Gumede is a HipHop, Trap, EDM & House DJ. Fakumfutho has been learning the art of DJing for 15 years already and has been doing it professionally for 4 years now. Fakumfutho considers themselves as a DJ, producer and designer, we look forward to what this trio of talents will create in the future.

DJ Ntukza

Hailing from Durban’s underground and recognized as one of the province’s most acclaimed house DJs, DJ Ntukza has consistently materialised his ambitions into work to be proud of. Having worked and performed under an array of platforms including Channel O, House Africa Records and VUZU, this pioneer appears to be on an upwards trajectory, there's no stopping him. He's been recognized as one of Umlazi’s most promising acts.

Music Man

Music Man was born in KwaMaphumulo, a small village in KwaZulu Natal. In 1989 at 5 years old Music Man's father took him to his first music lesson where he first learnt how to play his first instrument, a flute. At 12 years old, he learnt how to play a trumpet, and joined the high school band while he was still in the lower primary level. Music Man was always a quick learner and was soon taught to play a horn and led the baritone team. He was selected to join the Drakensburg Boys Choir for a music composition competition which was led by Loyiso Bala. In 2001 he won the Best DSS Art & Music Award.

Vanco

Hailing from Douglasdale, Johannesburg Vanco is a diverse Dance music DJ/Producer who stepped onto the music scene in 2015. He's released under international labels Universal, Get Physical, Connected, Foliage Records & Afrocentric records, as well as working with artists including Black Motion, Djeff, Manoo and Boddhi Satva. Vanco’s songs have been received well on a large scale smashing dancefloors at festivals across the globe & being played in Ibiza &Tomorrowland. He has shared stages with artists like Black Coffee, Bob Sinclar, Black Motion, Da Capo, DJ Angelo,Themba, Djeff, DJ Shimza, DJ Fresh, Pablo Fierro & Boddhi Satva. Vanco continues to build his brand, touring the world and perfecting his craft, his work with thumping percussions, heavy baselines and sweet vocals, intertwining rhythmically, igniting audiences everywhere.

SGVO

19 Year old 'SGVO' a young creative from Mpumalanga, South Africa has been producing for only a few years and already has signed music with Atjazz Record company, House Afrika and Stay True Sound. An impressive feat for any young musician, look forward to something creative and new in this sound. At only 19 there's no guessing what a great talent we'll see in the years to come.

DJ Ludz was born in a small town in the Eastern Cape called Mthatha. Her passion for House music dates back to the early 90’s, from listening to a community based radio station in her hometown. Her love for radio continued as she joined an online radio show called Globalize Yourself Stereo in 2014. What started out as just the love she had for house music, ended up being expressed later on the decks for DJ Ludz. She is now living her dream and big things are about to happen for this talented DJ.

Trix

Trix is not just a Hip Hop DJ, he is an experience. He's a transporter of minds and souls to an amazing turn up island, where you leave re-invigorated. He is a spirit to be reckoned with, a state of mind. He began hi DJ career as a House Music DJ in 2008, as his passion grew he ventured into Hip Hop and found a genuine love for the genre. Becoming a Hip Hop DJ in 2011 lead him to being B3nchmaQ's artist DJ as well as joining the group The Wrecking Crew.

Judy Jay

Judy Jay also known as Judy Mahlatji was born in Tjetane, a small village in Sekhukhune, Limpopo. As a not only young but also female DJ, Judy has caught a lot of people's attention in the South Africa's House music community with her innovative sounds. Her colossal love for Deep House can be felt in the music she delivers throughout her DJ sets. Judy is a force to be reckoned with.

Hailing from East London, Athie Umgido forms part of UMGIDO, leaders in a new age Gqom sound. This unique sound blends Gqom melodies with classic notes of electro house and has piqued interest beyond our borders. In 2016 DJ Athie began focusing on music full time and moved to Cape Town to attend the Bridges Academy where he graduated. DJ Athie is a resident and helps produce a weekly show on 5fm, #TheHouseConnect where he introduces the freshest new music.

AudioJerk established his brand in the South African Techno scene by playing at every major music festival around the country from ULTRA to Rocking The Daisies, Oppikoppi, AfrikaBurn & Rage. He played internationally in 2016 at the world-renowned festival, Amsterdam Dance Event as well as the Katemukke ADE Showcase in 2017. AudioJerk has also seen his back to back moniker STAB Virus with friend Siphe Tebeka exploded onto the international scene at the 'Awakenings 2017' Techno festival. China Charmeleon also known as Siphamandla Innocent has risen and changed slowly as a Charmeleon would from the ranks of being resident DJ in his home town of Carolina, Mpumalanga. He drew most of his inspiration in terms of mixing from DJ Kent who he believes is one of South Africa's most talented DJs. He aims to follow in his footsteps and turn the inspiration into something new.

Music Man

Music Man was born in KwaMaphumulo, a small village in KwaZulu Natal. In 1989 at 5 years old Music Man's father took him to his first music lesson where he first learnt how to play his first instrument, a flute. At 12 years old, he learnt how to play a trumpet, and joined the high school band while he was still in the lower primary level. Music Man was always a quick learner and was soon taught to play a horn and led the baritone team. He was selected to join the Drakensburg Boys Choir for a music composition competition which was led by Loyiso Bala. In 2001 he won the Best DSS Art & Music Award.
