Deep Narratives is a group with two guys, Vertic (Khayelihle) & Lelzin (Mpumelelo).They were born and raised in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal.

DJ Sandy

Entertainer, Dancer, and DJ, "Sandy the D" comes from a small town Idutywa in the Eastern Cape, currently based in Pretoria. When not performing, she spends her time rehearsing & playing around with music… aided by over 3 years of Djing lessons and an upbringing in a very musically-influenced town, East London. Having spent most of her time playing at all of the major local night clubs, and DJing in Special events. Sandy has had a lot of time to develop her Djing skills. For her, it’s all about mood and a nice time for everyone.

Jeje

Sibuyile Mbewu aka DJ Jeje, is a dj and music producer born and bred in the streets of Khayelitsha in Cape Town. Very young yet seasoned, Jeje has already amazed a steady catalogue that includes co-signs from the likes of DJ Tira, Tipcee and even " Uthando Nesthembu" - a popular show on DSTV's Mzansi Magic. He has shared stages with the likes of AKA, Moonchild Sanelly, Samthing Soweto, Pearl Thusi and Shimza to name a few.

DJ Ntukza

Hailing from Durban’s underground and recognized as one of the province’s most acclaimed house DJs, DJ Ntukza has consistently materialised his ambitions into work to be proud of. Having worked and performed under an array of platforms including Channel O, House Africa Records and VUZU, this pioneer appears to be on an upwards trajectory, there's no stopping him. He's been recognized as one of Umlazi’s most promising acts.

Judy Jay

Judy Jay also known as Judy Mahlatji was born in Tjetane, a small village in Sekhukhune, Limpopo. As a not only young but also female DJ, Judy has caught a lot of people's attention in the South Africa's House music community with her innovative sounds. Her colossal love for Deep House can be felt in the music she delivers throughout her DJ sets. Judy is a force to be reckoned with.

China Charmeleon

China Charmeleon also known as Siphamandla Innocent has risen and changed slowly as a Charmeleon would from the ranks of being resident DJ in his home town of Carolina, Mpumalanga. He drew most of his inspiration in terms of mixing from DJ Kent who he believes is one of South Africa's most talented DJs. He aims to follow in his footsteps and turn the inspiration into something new.

Athie Umgido

Hailing from East London, Athie Umgido forms part of UMGIDO, leaders in a new age Gqom sound. This unique sound blends Gqom melodies with classic notes of electro house and has piqued interest beyond our borders. In 2016 DJ Athie began focusing on music full time and moved to Cape Town to attend the Bridges Academy where he graduated. DJ Athie is a resident and helps produce a weekly show on 5fm, #TheHouseConnect where he introduces the freshest new music.

Drega

Drega, real name Yanga Mzimkhulu was born and raised in a small town called Dutywa in the Eastern Cape. The young producer went on to Lovedale Art, Agriculture & Accounting College to further his interest in Art and Design. It's this love for all things creative that has given Drega the flair that he is so well known for. He loves producing Afro House and Gqom and his sound is influenced by the likes of Culoe De Song, Black Coffee, Da Capo, Diplo and Tefo Foxx.

Lee Da Cocktail

Lee Da Cocktail was born and bred in Limpopo. She is the founder of both Deep House Festival and #RememberSHE, an organisation focused on empowering female DJs and artists, the kind of mentorship this country really needs. Her styles include deep house, soulful and dub tech but she is an absolute all rounder and definitely someone to keep your eye on who focuses on more than just the music.

Seavhe DeejaY

Sive Ngadlela also know as Seavhe DeejaY is a Cape Town based DJ that was born in Khayelitsha Seavhe boasts a number of skills that have seen him making a huge impact in the Cape Town entertainment industry. His ability to effortlessly mix genres got him an opportunity to become a resident DJ at @Rands which is one of the biggest lifestyle spaces in Cape Town. In 2017 Seavhe won the the Viceroy Makoya mix competition which gained him more attention as the most versatile DJ in Cape Town.

Siphiwe & Lebstar

Siphiwe & Lebstar are versatile DJs hailing from Soshanguve. The duo of TJK Entertainment has been rocking the Pretoria club scene for a while now and with a couple of years under their belt they now looks to break into the national and inernational scene with their flair and new perspectives. Given the chance, these two will surely take over the Dance music scene the world over.

C4 DJs

Sakhile & Madoda make up the versatile duo C4 DJs who hail from Kwa-Thema. Under the management of Deadly Combo, the duo has been killing the dance floor for a while now. Both DJs have a few years experience in the industry and their combination has been fire. Having shared a stage with Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Oscar Mbo and Vinny Da Vinci just to name a few, the duo is destined to rock the national and international music scene.

Aux WoMdantso

Hailing from Nyanga East, Aux Womdantso has been making a name for himself as one of the countries leading gqom DJs and producers. Having played alongside the likes of Black Coffee, AKA, DJ Fresh and Distruction Boyz as well as performing at notable events including Boiler Room. He has returned to studio to work on an upcoming EP and we can't wait to see what direction he takes.

Tumi Turna

Tumi Turna is a Hip Hop Dj, born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. She is known for her high energy sets that bring the best of South African and International Hip Hop together.

Ms Patty

Patricia Mashigo, also known as Ms Patty hails from Mabopane in Pretoria. She is an underground DJ in her own right who has earned her place in the House Music scene. Ms Patty has shared the stage with her industry favorites namely Kat la Kat, Jullian Gomes, Da Capo and Sir LSG. She has also been featured at one of SA's prestigious festivals, Oppi Koppi. We can't wait to see what the future holds for Ms Patty.

Geshlover

Magesh aka Geshlover from Tsakane in the Eastrand started DJing Amapiano in 2019 as part of a duo called FG Entertainment, he then decided to go solo as Geshlover. Geshlover does events in the Eastrand such as FG Entertainment Networking Sessions, Geshlover's Affairs, and also started a clothing brand FG ENT and Geshlover clothing. He's shared the stage with the likes of Khuli Chana, Kabza da Small, Maphorisa and many more other giants in the South African music industry.

DJ Ngamla

Although he was born in The United States, Dylan Ward was raised on the humble farms of Robertson just outside Cape Town. DJ Ngamla grew up working in his family restaurant business, never thinking he would one day be performing for crowds of thousands at some of the most prominent festivals. He started his career in 2013 after being introduced to Gqom music by his friend at a popular bar in one of the local townships, since then he's made sure to take his audience on a journey.

TSETSE “THE VILLAGE GIRL”

Boiketlo Mamahwane Talane known by her stage name TSETSE "THE VILLAGE GIRL" was born and raised in Sekhukhune. Her Sets are dominated by pure Deep House grooves and a bit of Soul House music. Tsetse hosts her own annual event called "THE OUTBURST OF SOULS" which has the most powerful support. Her Goal is to be recognized globally and to produce her own music. She released her debut EP titled THE VILLAGE GIRL under OBS Media in 2020. We look forward to what the future holds for this musical powerhouse.

DJ Chofy

DJ Chofy is known as a hardcore mix DJ, tricky, skillful and unpredictable when it comes to selection, a DJ who is proud to play and understands most genres. She started in 2010 and has rapidly become what can best be described as “the people’s choice” when it comes to nightlife party starters. She is the only female DJ in South Africa who just made it through to the top 12 of the 1s and 2s DJs competition, she has also made it through to the next round of Makoya Mix Djs Competition. She is part of the Female DJ Network which is a motherboard for all female DJ’s globally. Their mission is to teach female DJ’s to work together, and pool their resources and income to help each other grow.

DJ Koki

DJ Koki was born and bred in Meadowlands Soweto where he started DJing in 2002. He is a true defender of the underground scene with an old school swagger that has a modern touch. He was the first Sowetan DJ to showcase his talent at Diesel Denim Friday in 2017 in Menlyn alongside DJ Malankane and Oscar Mbo. This year we look forward to Koki’s mixtape realease entitled Crops & Seeds.

DJ Toolz

Thulani Mahelu also know as Toolz Umazelaphi is a 23 year old aspiring DJ & Producer from Cape Town. He was born in Khayelitsha H-Section and has been producing music since 2015. He's been extremely inspired by the likes of Prince Kaybee and other music legends. Toolz Umazelaphi is currently working on a series of collaborations with a few headline artists and a potential larger project before June.There's only great things in his future.

DJ Lihle

With a love for music that started at a young age, DJ Lihle is a Deep House DJ from Durban and has been spinning on the decks since early 2018. She’s a resident at Mojos Carwash as well as Protea Hotel Fire & Ice in Umhlanga. This has given her the opportunity to play alongside the likes of Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Christos, Ralf Gum, DJ Fresh and Glen Lewis to name a few. She has also played on Vuzu’s Hit Refresh and at many different venues and Deep House events around the country including Swaziland.

MLB

Young DJ & Producer Malebo Makhathulela also know as MLB has engraved her name in an industry largely dominated by Men. MLB signed up to a music course at age 13 and worked her way up to be amongst the best Female DJs in Pretoria. She has worked with some of the most renowned DJs & Producers, and has collaborations with the likes of DJ Tessen which gave birth to remixes by sensations DJ Bullet, Kat-La-Kat, Ultimate Warriors, Mindlo and Essential-I & Infinite Boys.

Magesh aka Geshlover from Tsakane in the Eastrand started DJing Amapiano in 2019 as part of a duo called FG Entertainment, he then decided to go solo as Geshlover. Geshlover does events in the Eastrand such as FG Entertainment Networking Sessions, Geshlover's Affairs, and also started a clothing brand FG ENT and Geshlover clothing. He's shared the stage with the likes of Khuli Chana, Kabza da Small, Maphorisa and many more other giants in the South African music industry.

DJ Ngamla

Although he was born in The United States, Dylan Ward was raised on the humble farms of Robertson just outside Cape Town. DJ Ngamla grew up working in his family restaurant business, never thinking he would one day be performing for crowds of thousands at some of the most prominent festivals. He started his career in 2013 after being introduced to Gqom music by his friend at a popular bar in one of the local townships, since then he's made sure to take his audience on a journey.

TSETSE “THE VILLAGE GIRL”

Boiketlo Mamahwane Talane known by her stage name TSETSE "THE VILLAGE GIRL" was born and raised in Sekhukhune. Her Sets are dominated by pure Deep House grooves and a bit of Soul House music. Tsetse hosts her own annual event called "THE OUTBURST OF SOULS" which has the most powerful support. Her Goal is to be recognized globally and to produce her own music. She released her debut EP titled THE VILLAGE GIRL under OBS Media in 2020. We look forward to what the future holds for this musical powerhouse.

DJ Chofy

DJ Chofy is known as a hardcore mix DJ, tricky, skillful and unpredictable when it comes to selection, a DJ who is proud to play and understands most genres. She started in 2010 and has rapidly become what can best be described as “the people’s choice” when it comes to nightlife party starters. She is the only female DJ in South Africa who just made it through to the top 12 of the 1s and 2s DJs competition, she has also made it through to the next round of Makoya Mix Djs Competition. She is part of the Female DJ Network which is a motherboard for all female DJ’s globally. Their mission is to teach female DJ’s to work together, and pool their resources and income to help each other grow.

DJ Koki

DJ Koki was born and bred in Meadowlands Soweto where he started DJing in 2002. He is a true defender of the underground scene with an old school swagger that has a modern touch. He was the first Sowetan DJ to showcase his talent at Diesel Denim Friday in 2017 in Menlyn alongside DJ Malankane and Oscar Mbo. This year we look forward to Koki’s mixtape realease entitled Crops & Seeds.

Thulani Mahelu also know as Toolz Umazelaphi is a 23 year old aspiring DJ & Producer from Cape Town. He was born in Khayelitsha H-Section and has been producing music since 2015. He's been extremely inspired by the likes of Prince Kaybee and other music legends. Toolz Umazelaphi is currently working on a series of collaborations with a few headline artists and a potential larger project before June.There's only great things in his future.

With a love for music that started at a young age, DJ Lihle is a Deep House DJ from Durban and has been spinning on the decks since early 2018. She’s a resident at Mojos Carwash as well as Protea Hotel Fire & Ice in Umhlanga. This has given her the opportunity to play alongside the likes of Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Christos, Ralf Gum, DJ Fresh and Glen Lewis to name a few. She has also played on Vuzu’s Hit Refresh and at many different venues and Deep House events around the country including Swaziland.

Young DJ & Producer Malebo Makhathulela also know as MLB has engraved her name in an industry largely dominated by Men. MLB signed up to a music course at age 13 and worked her way up to be amongst the best Female DJs in Pretoria. She has worked with some of the most renowned DJs & Producers, and has collaborations with the likes of DJ Tessen which gave birth to remixes by sensations DJ Bullet, Kat-La-Kat, Ultimate Warriors, Mindlo and Essential-I & Infinite Boys.

Having spent most of her time playing at all of the major local night clubs, and DJing in Special events. Sandy has had a lot of time to develop her Djing skills. For her, it’s all about mood and a nice time for everyone.

Sibuyile Mbewu aka DJ Jeje, is a dj and music producer born and bred in the streets of Khayelitsha in Cape Town. Very young yet seasoned, Jeje has already amazed a steady catalogue that includes co-signs from the likes of DJ Tira, Tipcee and even " Uthando Nesthembu" - a popular show on DSTV's Mzansi Magic. He has shared stages with the likes of AKA, Moonchild Sanelly, Samthing Soweto, Pearl Thusi and Shimza to name a few.

China Charmeleon

China Charmeleon also known as Siphamandla Innocent has risen and changed slowly as a Charmeleon would from the ranks of being resident DJ in his home town of Carolina, Mpumalanga. He drew most of his inspiration in terms of mixing from DJ Kent who he believes is one of South Africa's most talented DJs. He aims to follow in his footsteps and turn the inspiration into something new.

Hailing from East London, Athie Umgido forms part of UMGIDO, leaders in a new age Gqom sound. This unique sound blends Gqom melodies with classic notes of electro house and has piqued interest beyond our borders. In 2016 DJ Athie began focusing on music full time and moved to Cape Town to attend the Bridges Academy where he graduated. DJ Athie is a resident and helps produce a weekly show on 5fm, #TheHouseConnect where he introduces the freshest new music.

Drega

Drega, real name Yanga Mzimkhulu was born and raised in a small town called Dutywa in the Eastern Cape. The young producer went on to Lovedale Art, Agriculture & Accounting College to further his interest in Art and Design. It's this love for all things creative that has given Drega the flair that he is so well known for. He loves producing Afro House and Gqom and his sound is influenced by the likes of Culoe De Song, Black Coffee, Da Capo, Diplo and Tefo Foxx.

Lee Da Cocktail

Lee Da Cocktail was born and bred in Limpopo. She is the founder of both Deep House Festival and #RememberSHE, an organisation focused on empowering female DJs and artists, the kind of mentorship this country really needs. Her styles include deep house, soulful and dub tech but she is an absolute all rounder and definitely someone to keep your eye on who focuses on more than just the music.

Seavhe DeejaY

Sive Ngadlela also know as Seavhe DeejaY is a Cape Town based DJ that was born in Khayelitsha Seavhe boasts a number of skills that have seen him making a huge impact in the Cape Town entertainment industry. His ability to effortlessly mix genres got him an opportunity to become a resident DJ at @Rands which is one of the biggest lifestyle spaces in Cape Town. In 2017 Seavhe won the the Viceroy Makoya mix competition which gained him more attention as the most versatile DJ in Cape Town.

Siphiwe & Lebstar

Siphiwe & Lebstar are versatile DJs hailing from Soshanguve. The duo of TJK Entertainment has been rocking the Pretoria club scene for a while now and with a couple of years under their belt they now looks to break into the national and inernational scene with their flair and new perspectives. Given the chance, these two will surely take over the Dance music scene the world over.

C4 DJs

Sakhile & Madoda make up the versatile duo C4 DJs who hail from Kwa-Thema. Under the management of Deadly Combo, the duo has been killing the dance floor for a while now. Both DJs have a few years experience in the industry and their combination has been fire. Having shared a stage with Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Oscar Mbo and Vinny Da Vinci just to name a few, the duo is destined to rock the national and international music scene.

Aux WoMdantso

Hailing from Nyanga East, Aux Womdantso has been making a name for himself as one of the countries leading gqom DJs and producers. Having played alongside the likes of Black Coffee, AKA, DJ Fresh and Distruction Boyz as well as performing at notable events including Boiler Room. He has returned to studio to work on an upcoming EP and we can't wait to see what direction he takes.

Tumi Turna

Tumi Turna is a Hip Hop Dj, born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. She is known for her high energy sets that bring the best of South African and International Hip Hop together.
